太陽光が、多様に変化する大気を通過して被写体に届く。刻々と移ろう光の振る舞いをとらえるための好機は、風のない日で長くて15秒。同じ光は続かず視界から去りゆくもの。環境と呼応しながら形態を選択してきた植物の機能美と、それを取り巻く自然の要素を平面上に写し表すために、写真機の機構をもって物質と光の均衡をとる。15秒の間、脳回路で己が疾走する。

Sunlight reaches the photographic subject through the atmosphere, which changes in various ways. The best moment to capture the ever-changing light is 15 seconds at most on a windless day. The same light does not last and continues to fade. Trying to achieve an ideal balance between material and light by using the mechanism of a photographic camera in order to capture, on a flat surface, the functional beauty of plants that have chosen their forms in response to their environment and the natural elements that surround them. For 15 seconds, I dash in my brain circuits.
